The construction team has made good progress on the JUNO site since construction recommenced from the ACT COVID lockdown.

It has been a challenging few months with many interstate workers unable to travel to Canberra and many of our local workforce being in and out of quarantine due to COVID 19 regulations. But we have implemented appropriate strategies to overcome these challenges and don’t expect to see any major delays to the building program.

The main structure of the basement carpark is now complete and with this, we are seeing the first of the frames now being erected for units 9 through 19.

Units 1 through 8 framing has now been completed and brickwork is well under way. Over the next weeks we will see the roof and facade progressing well in preparation for internal works to begin.

All of the contractors are working hard to help regain some days on the program that were lost with the COVID shutdown.

The management of the Site COVID Plan is going well, and being such a spread out open air site currently, our builder is managing to keep things moving well whilst still keep all of the workers safe in this time.
